I bought this cute little bear for my 4yrold little girl who has the CFTR-Related Metabolic Syndrome (CRMS), I new from the start that there was something wrong with my baby when she was born but it took 31/2 long yrs before the doctors started test for gentic problems and found 1 gene mutaion that said it my be CF ,I didnt know want CF was ,Now I do and I dont like it ,we did our first walk (great strides) last summer(2011) and will do anything to help find a cure ,I like said my little girl has CRMS ,she is has symptoms of the full CF and like many other needs a cure..I pray god will help scientist fine a cure soon....this bear is the best ,I will be giving it to my baby on christmas with a little note that will tell her about Burke's story that way she know he to was sick alot , in and out of doctors offices ,burke bear I know will be going with her to hospitals and lots of doctors apps ....thanks boyds bears for making a very sweet bear firend for many kids out there with CF/CRMS
